West Virginia High School Softball - Spring Valley nudges Casey County
April 3, 2023: Huntington, WV 25704 Spring Valley Timberwolves (Huntington, WV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Casey County Rebels (Liberty, KY), 6-5 in a non-league challenge.
The Timberwolves now own a 9-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bishop Kearney for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 4. Spring Valley will face a Kings squad coming off a 10-0 non-league loss to University (Morgantown, WV). The Kings record now stands at 0-1.
With the loss, Casey County falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Rebels travel to Pulaski County (Somerset, KY) to face the Maroons in a District 47 challenge on Monday, April 10. The Maroons enter the challenge with a record of 2-1.
