Illinois High School Softball - Marengo bounces Fenton
April 3, 2023: Bensenville, IL 60106 The crowd at Monday's non-league match between the Marengo Indians (Marengo, IL) and the host Fenton Bison (Bensenville, IL), saw Marengo's softball squad achieve victory over Fenton by a count of 18-2.
The Indians now sport a 4-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Harvard for a Kishwaukee River match on Thursday, April 6. Marengo will face a Hornets squad coming off a 7-0 non-league loss to Guilford (Rockford, IL). The Hornets record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, Fenton falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Bison travel to Rich Township (Olympia Fields, IL) to face the Raptors in a non-league match on Tuesday, April 4. The Raptors enter the match with a record of 1-4. Rich Township lost 13-1 in their recent league match against Bloom (Chicago Heights, IL)
