Kansas High School Softball - Fort Scott loses to Frontenac
April 3, 2023: Frontenac, KS 66763 The Frontenac Raiders softball team scored 11 runs and limited the visiting Fort Scott Tigers to 1 in the Raiders non-league triumph on Monday.
With the triumph, Frontenac improves its record to 1-0 on the year. The Raiders host Independence (Independence, KS) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 4. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 6-0. Independence won 11-6 in their recent non-league game against Caney Valley (Caney, KS)
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Pittsburg Dragons (Pittsburg, KS) in a non-league game, on Thursday, April 6. Fort Scott will attempt to improve on its 1-3 season record. The Dragons come into the game with a 2-1 record after their 9-2 non-league win over Galena (Galena, KS).
