The Mecklenburg County Phoenix softball team scored 20 runs and limited the host Magna Vista Warriors to 12 in the Phoenix league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Mecklenburg County moves its record to 2-6 on the year. The Phoenix travel to Hopewell (Hopewell, VA) to clash with the Blue Devils in a non-league game on Friday, April 14. The Blue Devils come into the game with a record of 1-5.
