Illinois High School Softball - Ottawa holds off Sycamore
April 3, 2023: Ottawa, IL 61350 The Ottawa Pirates (Ottawa, IL) softball the visiting Sycamore Spartans (Sycamore, IL), 2-0 in Monday's league bout.
The Pirates (5-2) will now prepare for their bout against Plano (Plano, IL). The Reapers go into the Interstate Eight bout with a 3-4 record.
The Spartans now possess a 4-1 record. They play next when they travel to Belvidere North for a non-league bout on Thursday, April 6. Sycamore will confront a Blue Thunder squad coming off a 15-0 non-league loss to Wauconda (Wauconda, IL). The Blue Thunder record now stands at 1-2.
