South Carolina High School Baseball - Indian Land defeats Porter Ridge
April 3, 2024: Fort Mill, SC 29720 Spectators at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Indian Land Warriors (Fort Mill, SC) and the visiting Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC), saw Indian Land's baseball squad beat Porter Ridge by a margin of 9-4.
Coming up next, the Warriors play the Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC) in a 4A Region 3 battle, on Monday, April 8. Indian Land will attempt to better on its 13-5 season record. The Copperheads enter the battle with a 10-1 record after their 6-3 non-league loss to Greenbrier Christian Academy (Chesapeake, VA).
The Pirates now sport a 7-8 record. They take the field next when they host Cuthbertson for a Southern Carolina 4A battle on Tuesday, April 9. Porter Ridge will play a Cavaliers squad coming off a 11-3 non-league win over Charlotte Catholic (Charlotte, NC). The Cavaliers record now stands at 15-2.
