Virginia High School Lacrosse - McLean bounces Washington-Liberty
April 3, 2024: McLean, VA 22101 The McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA) lacrosse triumphed over the visiting Washington-Liberty Generals (Arlington, VA), 17-5 in Wednesday's league outing.
With the win, McLean upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Highlanders travel to Wakefield School (The Plains, VA) to battle the Fighting Owls in a non-league outing on Friday, April 5. The Fighting Owls go into the outing with a record of 0-1. Wakefield School lost 15-1 in their recent non-league challenge against Charles J. Colgan (Manassas, VA)
The Generals (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against George C. Marshall (Falls Church, VA). The Statesmen enter the Liberty challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, George C. Marshall was overwhelmed by Yorktown (Arlington, VA), 18-1, in a league challenge.
