Louisiana High School Softball - Catholic of Pointe Coupee bounces Archbishop Hannan
April 3, 2024: Covington, LA 70433 The Catholic of Pointe Coupee Hornets routed the host Archbishop Hannan Hawks softball squad by a count of 7-2 in Wednesday's non-league battle.
The Hornets (16-11) will now prepare for their battle against Sacred Heart (Ville Platte, LA). The Trojans go into the 1A District 6 battle with a 14-9 record. In their last battle, Sacred Heart was routed by St. Thomas More (Lafayette, LA), 14-6, in a non-league battle.
The Hawks now sport a 20-6 record. They play next when they travel to Doyle for a non-league battle on Thursday, April 4. Archbishop Hannan will meet a Tigers squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Brusly (Brusly, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 20-4.
