Oklahoma High School Baseball - Covington-Douglas loses to Drummond
April 3, 2025: Covington, OK 73730 Drummond Bulldogs (Drummond, OK) fans left the game pleased Thursday as they observed their baseball squad achieve victory over the host Covington-Douglas Wildcats (Covington, OK), 8-2 in a league match.
With the triumph, Drummond advances its record to 17-1 on the season. The Bulldogs host Waukomis (Waukomis, OK) to battle the Chiefs in a Skeltur match on Thursday, April 3. The Chiefs come into the match with a record of 8-3. Waukomis won 7-0 in their recent non-league match against Cherokee (Cherokee, OK)
The Wildcats now have a 10-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pond Creek-Hunter for a Skeltur match on Thursday, April 3. Covington-Douglas will battle a Panthers squad coming off a 11-0 non-league loss to Kremlin-Hillsdale (Kremlin, OK). The Panthers record now stands at 2-7.
