The crowd at Thursday's non-league battle between the Dallas County Hornets (Plantersville, AL) and the visiting Selma Saints (Selma, AL), saw Dallas County's baseball team gain a win over Selma by a tally of 15-5.

The Hornets (2-9) will now prepare for their battle against Billingsley (Billingsley, AL). The Bears enter the non-league battle with a 15-7 record. In their last battle, Billingsley prevailed over Montevallo (Montevallo, AL), 6-1, in a non-league battle.
