April 3, 2025: Chicago, IL 60637 St. Laurence Vikings (Burbank, IL) backers exited the stadium pleased Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team knock off the host Chicago University Maroons (Chicago, IL), 2-0 in a non-league test.
With the triumph, St. Laurence advances its record to 3-0 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL) to clash with the Celtics in a non-league test on Monday, April 7. The Celtics come into the test with a record of 4-0. Providence Catholic won 7-0 in their recent non-league test against Kankakee (Kankakee, IL)
The Maroons now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Payton College Prep for a non-league test on Saturday, April 5. Chicago University will clash with a Grizzlies team coming off a 2-0 league loss to Amundsen (Chicago, IL). The Grizzlies record now stands at 0-1.
