The Long Branch Green Wave lacrosse squad scored 14 points and limited the visiting Liberty Lions to 2 in the Green Wave league triumph on Thursday.

The Green Wave now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Egypt for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 5.

With the loss, Liberty falls to 0-2 on the year. The Lions host Middletown North (Middletown, NJ) to meet the Lions in a non-league contest on Monday, April 7. The Lions go into the contest with a record of 1-1.
