Iowa High School Soccer - Van Meter knocks off Hoover
April 3, 2025: Van Meter, IA 50261 The Van Meter Bulldogs soccer squad scored 11 points and held the visiting Hoover Huskies to 1 in the Bulldogs non-league victory on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they travel to Colfax-Mingo for a non-league bout on Thursday, April 3. Van Meter will play a Tigerhawks squad coming off a 4-0 non-league win over Williamsburg (Williamsburg, IA). The Tigerhawks record now stands at 1-0.
With the loss, Hoover moves to 0-2 on the year. The Huskies travel to St. Edmond (Fort Dodge, IA) to play the Gaels in a non-league bout on Tuesday, April 8. The Gaels go into the bout with a record of 0-0.
