Washington High School Baseball - Capital holds off Kelso
April 3, 2025: Kelso, WA 98626 The Capital Cougars baseball team scored 10 runs and held the host Kelso Hilanders to 6 in the Cougars non-league win on Thursday.
The Cougars now own a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they host River Ridge for a non-league test on Tuesday, April 8. Capital will clash with a Hawks team coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Montesano (Montesano, WA). The Hawks record now stands at 0-5.
With the defeat, Kelso drops to 5-2 on the year. The Hilanders host Skyview (Vancouver, WA) to clash with the Storm in a non-league test on Friday, April 4. The Storm go into the test with a record of 3-0. Skyview won 13-7 in their recent non-league test against Mountain View (Vancouver, WA)
