The Niles Notre Dame Dons (Niles, IL) baseball got by the host Taft Eagles (Chicago, IL), 3-2 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

The Dons now own a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to North Shore Country Day for a non-league challenge on Saturday, April 12.

With the defeat, Taft drops to 3-3 on the year. The Eagles host Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL) to clash with the Grizzlies in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 7. The Grizzlies go into the challenge with a record of 1-1. Payton College Prep won 16-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Kennedy (Chicago, IL)
