South Carolina High School Soccer - Gilbert nudged by Airport
April 3, 2025: Gilbert, SC 29054 Airport Eagles (West Columbia, SC) boosters exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they witnessed their soccer team get by the host Gilbert Indians (Gilbert, SC), 2-1 in a league test.
With the triumph, Airport moves its record to 4-6 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC) to clash with the Bearcats in a test on Monday, April 7. The Bearcats come into the test with a record of 6-5. Brookland-Cayce lost 3-1 in their recent non-league test against Indian Land (Fort Mill, SC)
The Indians now sport a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they travel to South Aiken for a test on Friday, April 4. Gilbert will clash with a Thoroughbreds team coming off a 5-0 league win over Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC). The Thoroughbreds record now stands at 5-3.
