The Central Wildcats overwhelmed the visiting Florence Falcons softball squad by a count of 11-1 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats meet the Muscle Shoals Trojans (Muscle Shoals, AL) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, April 4. Central will attempt to upgrade on its 15-6 season record. The Trojans go into the challenge with a 6-11 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Deshler (Tuscumbia, AL).

The Falcons (8-16) will now prepare for their challenge against Colbert Heights (Tuscumbia, AL). The Wildcats go into the non-league challenge with a 21-5 record. In their last challenge, Colbert Heights toppled Russellville (Russellville, AL), 4-3, in a non-league challenge.
