April 3, 2025: Ackerman, MS 39735 The Columbus Falcons softball squad (Columbus, MS), was routed 13-0 in Thursday's non-league contest with the host Choctaw County Chargers (Ackerman, MS)
With the triumph, Choctaw County improves its record to 7-11 on the year. The Chargers travel to Aberdeen (Aberdeen, MS) to face the Bulldogs in a 3A Region 4 contest on Friday, April 4. The Bulldogs enter the contest with a record of 5-17. Aberdeen lost 13-0 in their recent league contest against Mooreville (Mooreville, MS)
The Falcons now hold a 1-17 record. They play next when they host Ridgeland for a 6A Region 2 contest on Friday, April 4. Columbus will face a Titans squad coming off a 18-8 league loss to Vicksburg (Vicksburg, MS). The Titans record now stands at 2-9.
