In Thursday's non-league test, the Columbiana Clippers (Columbiana, OH) softball squad overwhelmed the visiting Salem Quakers (Salem, OH), by a tally of 9-0.

Next, the Clippers clash with the Boardman Spartans (Youngstown, OH) in a non-league test, on Friday, April 4. Columbiana will attempt to advance on its 5-3 season record. The Spartans go into the test with a 5-1 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Archbishop Hoban (Akron, OH).

The Quakers (1-4) will now prepare for their test against Hubbard (Hubbard, OH). The Eagles go into the non-league test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Hubbard prevailed over Poland Seminary (Poland, OH), 9-7, in a league test.
