The Concord Academy Eagles softball team scored 5 runs and held the visiting Metrolina Christian Academy Warriors to 4 in the Eagles league win on Thursday.

The Eagles now sport a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hickory Grove Christian for a NICSAA Metrolina battle on Tuesday, April 8. Concord Academy will encounter a Lions team coming off a 24-3 non-league win over Monroe (Monroe, NC). The Lions record now stands at 6-6.

With the loss, Metrolina Christian Academy moves to 1-9 on the season.
