Alabama High School Softball - Skyline can't get by Trigg County
April 3, 2025: Scottsboro, AL 35768 Trigg County Wildcats (Cadiz, KY) supporters left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the host Skyline Vikings (Scottsboro, AL), 5-4 in a non-league game.
With the triumph, Trigg County improves its record to 5-5 on the year. The Wildcats travel to Muhlenberg County (Greenville, KY) to play the Mustangs in a non-league game on Tuesday, April 8. The Mustangs enter the game with a record of 3-5. Muhlenberg County lost 13-4 in their recent non-league game against Assumption (Louisville, KY)
The Vikings now hold a 7-14 record. They play next when they host Fort Payne for a non-league game on Monday, April 7. Skyline will play a Wildcats squad coming off a 26-12 non-league win over Gadsden City (Gadsden, AL). The Wildcats record now stands at 9-9.
