The Thayer Bobcats softball team scored 4 runs and held the visiting Clearwater Fightin' Tigers to 0 in the Bobcats non-league win on Friday.

The Bobcats now possess a 9-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Kennett for a non-league battle on Friday, April 3. Thayer will confront a Indians team coming off a 13-3 non-league win over Nettleton (Jonesboro, AR). The Indians record now stands at 15-0.

With the loss, Clearwater moves to 12-4 on the season. The Fightin' tigers travel to Greenville (Greenville, MO) to confront the Bears in a Class 2 District 2 battle on Monday, April 6. The Bears come into the battle with a record of 2-1.
