Virginia High School Baseball - James Madison can't hold off Asheville
April 4, 2023: Vienna, VA 22181 In Tuesday's non-league game, the visiting Asheville Cougars baseball team scored a tight 5-4 victory over the James Madison Warhawks.
The Cougars (8-4) will now prepare for their game against Buford (Lancaster, SC). The Yellowjackets go into the non-league game with a 7-4 record. In their last game, Buford tipped North Central (Kershaw, SC), 3-1, in a league game.
The Warhawks (5-1) will now prepare for their game against North Myrtle Beach (Little River, SC). The Chiefs go into the non-league game with a 10-3 record. In their last game, North Myrtle Beach was edged by Battlefield (Haymarket, VA), 5-4, in a non-league game.
