April 4, 2023: Viola, AR 72583 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Viola Longhorns (Viola, AR) and the visiting Koshkonong Blue Jays (Koshkonong, MO), saw Viola's baseball squad knock off Koshkonong by a count of 9-1.
Coming up next, the Longhorns play the West Side Eagles (Greers Ferry, AR) in a 1A Region 2 battle, on Friday, April 7. Viola will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record.
The Blue Jays now possess a 0-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Dora for a Class 1 District 4 battle on Thursday, April 6. Koshkonong will play a Falcons squad coming off a 5-4 non-league win over Norwood (Norwood, MO). The Falcons record now stands at 3-4.
