Taylorville Tornadoes (Taylorville, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Lincolnwood Lancers (Raymond, IL), 11-2 in a non-league test.

With the win, Taylorville upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Tornadoes host Meridian (Macon, IL) to battle the Hawks in a non-league test on Wednesday, April 5. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 2-3. Meridian won 3-2 in their recent league test against Clinton (Clinton, IL)

With the defeat, Lincolnwood falls to 3-3 on the season. The Lancers travel to Gillespie (Gillespie, IL) to battle the Miners in a non-league test on Thursday, April 6. The Miners come into the test with a record of 7-0.
