April 4, 2023: Morehead, KY 40351 Rowan County Vikings (Morehead, KY) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Forbush Falcons (East Bend, NC), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
The Vikings now own a 5-0 record. They take the field next when they host Estill County for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 10.
With the loss, Forbush falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The Falcons host Fairport (Fairport, NY) to battle the Red Raiders in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, April 4. The Red Raiders enter the challenge with a record of 0-1. Fairport lost 3-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Henry Clay (Lexington, KY)
