Missouri High School Softball - Galena bounces Hurley
April 4, 2023: Galena, MO 65656 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league match between the Galena Bears (Galena, MO) and the visiting Hurley Tigers (Hurley, MO), witnessed Galena's softball squad prevail over Hurley by a count of 14-1.
The Bears now sport a 2-5 record. They play next when they host Sparta for a Southwest Central match on Monday, April 10. Galena will meet a Trojans squad coming off a 17-1 non-league win over Hollister (Hollister, MO). The Trojans record now stands at 8-2.
With the loss, Hurley moves to 0-5 on the season. The Tigers travel to Wheaton (Wheaton, MO) to meet the Bulldogs in a non-league match on Wednesday, April 5. The Bulldogs go into the match with a record of 0-2.
