South Carolina High School Softball - James F. Byrnes bounces Hillcrest
April 4, 2023: Duncan, SC 29334 The crowd at Tuesday's non-league match between the James F. Byrnes Rebels (Duncan, SC) and the visiting Hillcrest Rams (Simpsonville, SC), saw James F. Byrnes's softball squad achieve victory over Hillcrest by a count of 11-1.
The Rebels now sport a 13-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Gaffney for a AAAAA Region 2 match on Tuesday, April 11.
With the loss, Hillcrest falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Rams travel to J.L. Mann (Greenville, SC) to face the Patriots in a AAAAA Region 1 match on Thursday, April 6. The Patriots enter the match with a record of 4-7. J.L. Mann lost 9-1 in their recent league match against Woodmont (Piedmont, SC)
