South Carolina High School Softball - Woodmont bounces J.L. Mann
April 4, 2023: Piedmont, SC 29673 Woodmont Wildcats (Piedmont, SC) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting J.L. Mann Patriots (Greenville, SC), 9-1 in a league challenge.
The Wildcats now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Hillcrest for a AAAAA Region 1 challenge on Friday, April 14.
With the loss, J.L. Mann falls to 4-7 on the campaign. The Patriots host Hillcrest (Simpsonville, SC) to battle the Rams in a AAAAA Region 1 challenge on Thursday, April 6. The Rams enter the challenge with a record of 0-2. Hillcrest lost 11-1 in their recent non-league challenge against James F. Byrnes (Duncan, SC)
