Gilmer County Titans (Glenville, WV) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Braxton County Eagles (Sutton, WV), 7-3 in a league test.

With the win, Gilmer County upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Titans host Nicholas County (Summersville, WV) to battle the Grizzlies in a non-league test on Saturday, April 6. The Grizzlies come into the test with a record of 5-1. Nicholas County won 1-0 in their recent league test against Independence (Coal City, WV)

With the defeat, Braxton County falls to 1-4 on the season. The Eagles travel to Hoover (Clendenin, WV) to battle the Huskies in a non-league test on Saturday, April 6.
