Arkansas High School Baseball - Ouachita nips Rison
April 4, 2024: Rison, AR 71665 Ouachita Warriors (Donaldson, AR) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the host Rison Wildcats (Rison, AR), 11-10 in a league test.
With the win, Ouachita upgrades its record to 13-6 on the season. The Warriors host Junction City (Junction City, AR) to battle the Dragons in a 2A Region 8 test on Friday, April 5. The Dragons come into the test with a record of 5-13. Junction City won 13-3 in their recent league test against Gurdon (Gurdon, AR)
With the defeat, Rison falls to 4-8 on the season. The Wildcats host Fordyce (Fordyce, AR) to battle the Redbugs in a 2A Region 8 test on Friday, April 5. The Redbugs come into the test with a record of 12-5. Fordyce lost 6-5 in their recent non-league test against Prescott (Prescott, AR)
