In Thursday's non-league challenge, the Webster Groves Statesmen (Webster Groves, MO) baseball squad edged the visiting Parkway Central Colts (Chesterfield, MO), by a final score of 8-7.

With the win, Webster Groves moves its record to 7-4 on the campaign. The Statesmen travel to Burroughs (St. Louis, MO) to face the Bombers in a Class 5 District 2 bout on Friday, April 5. The Bombers enter the bout with a record of 4-7. Burroughs lost 14-0 in their recent non-league bout against Westminster Christian Academy (Edwardsville, IL)
