Maryland High School Lacrosse - St. Ignatius College Preparatory tipped by Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart
April 4, 2024: Bethesda, MD 20817 Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart (Bethesda, MD) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad gain a win over the visiting St. Ignatius College Preparatory Wildcats (San Francisco, CA), 9-7 in a non-league battle.
The now have a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Our Lady of Good Counsel for a Washington Catholic battle on Saturday, April 6. Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart will play a Falcons team coming off a 20-0 league win over Elizabeth Seton (Bladensburg, MD). The Falcons record now stands at 9-0.
With the defeat, St. Ignatius College Preparatory drops to 8-3 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Glenelg (Glenelg, MD) to play the Gladiators in a non-league match on Saturday, April 6. The Gladiators go into the match with a record of 2-1. Glenelg won 18-1 in their recent league match against Hammond (Columbia, MD)
