North Carolina High School Soccer - Elkin knocks off South Stokes
April 4, 2024: Elkin, NC 28621 Elkin Buckin' Elks (Elkin, NC) fans were pleased Thursday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the visiting South Stokes Sauras (Walnut Cove, NC), 6-1 in a league challenge.
Next, the Buckin' Elks confront the North Surry Greyhounds (Mount Airy, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, April 10. Elkin will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record.
The Sauras now have a 2-5 record. They take the field next when they host Starmount for a Northwest 1A challenge on Monday, April 8. South Stokes will confront a Rams team coming off a 4-3 league win over South Stokes (Walnut Cove, NC). The Rams record now stands at 5-2.
