California High School Softball - Santa Fe bounces Whittier
April 4, 2024: Whittier, CA 90601 The crowd at Thursday's league match between the Santa Fe Chiefs (Santa Fe Springs, CA) and the host Whittier Cardinals (Whittier, CA), saw Santa Fe's softball squad achieve victory over Whittier by a count of 15-0.
The Chiefs now sport a 10-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Downey for a non-league match on Saturday, April 6. Santa Fe will face a Vikings squad coming off a 17-7 league win over Gahr (Cerritos, CA). The Vikings record now stands at 9-1.
With the loss, Whittier falls to 1-6 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to La Serna (Whittier, CA) to face the Lancers in a test on Thursday, April 11. The Lancers come into the test with a record of 5-6.
