The Virginia Episcopal School Bishops walloped the host New Covenant Gryphons lacrosse team by a final score of 14-6 in Thursday's league match.

With the win, Virginia Episcopal School betters its record to 2-1 on the season. The Bishops host Blue Ridge (St. George, VA) to play the Barons in a VISAA Division 1 match on Tuesday, April 9. The Barons go into the match with a record of 4-5. Blue Ridge lost 17-9 in their recent non-league match against Kiski School (Saltsburg, PA)

With the defeat, New Covenant drops to 1-3 on the season. The Gryphons travel to Fork Union Military Academy (Fork Union, VA) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league match on Friday, April 5.
