The Barbe Buccaneers softball team scored 12 runs and limited the visiting Lafayette Lions to 2 in the Buccaneers non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Barbe improves its record to 15-16 on the year. The Buccaneers host St. Edmund (Eunice, LA) to clash with the Fighting Blue Jays in a non-league game on Monday, April 8. The Fighting Blue Jays come into the game with a record of 9-8. St. Edmund won 11-2 in their recent non-league game against Church Point (Church Point, LA)
