Mississippi High School Softball - West Point bounces Clarksdale
April 4, 2024: West Point, MS 39773 The West Point Green Wave (West Point, MS) softball routed the visiting Clarksdale Wildcats (Clarksdale, MS), 16-3 in Thursday's league bout.
The Green Wave (10-15) will now prepare for their bout against French Camp Academy (French Camp, MS). The Panthers go into the non-league bout with a 5-9 record. In their last bout, French Camp Academy was routed by Ethel (Ethel, MS), 7-4, in a league bout.
The Wildcats now possess a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Corinth for a 5A Region 1 bout on Tuesday, April 9. Clarksdale will confront a Warriors squad coming off a 4-1 league loss to New Hope (Columbus, MS). The Warriors record now stands at 11-7.
