Illinois High School Softball - Trico bounces Mascoutah
April 4, 2024: Campbell Hill, IL 62916 Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the Trico Pioneers (Campbell Hill, IL) and the visiting Mascoutah Indians (Mascoutah, IL), observed Trico's softball team get by Mascoutah by a margin of 8-2.
With the triumph, Trico moves its record to 6-2 on the year. The Pioneers host Salem (Salem, IL) to clash with the Wildcats in a non-league game on Saturday, April 6. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 9-2. Salem won 3-1 in their recent league game against Freeburg (Freeburg, IL)
In their next game, the Indians clash with the Highland Bulldogs (Highland, IL) in a Mississippi Valley game, on Monday, April 8. Mascoutah will attempt to move on its 3-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the game with a 4-5 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to Belleville West (Belleville, IL).
