North Carolina High School Baseball - Central Davidson defeats Montgomery Central
April 4, 2025: Lexington, NC 27292 In Friday's league game, the host Central Davidson Spartans baseball team scored a close 7-0 victory over the Montgomery Central Timberwolves.
The Spartans (13-4) will now prepare for their game against North Davidson (Lexington, NC). The Black Knights enter the Mid-Piedmont 3A game with a 7-9 record. In their last game, North Davidson held off Asheboro (Asheboro, NC), 11-1, in a league game.
Next, the Timberwolves face the Oak Grove Grizzlies (Winston-Salem, NC) in a Mid-Piedmont 3A game, on Tuesday, April 8. Montgomery Central will attempt to improve on its 6-9 season record. The Grizzlies enter the game with a 8-8 record after their 17-10 non-league loss to Northwest Guilford (Greensboro, NC).
