New York High School Baseball - Mater Dei Academy defeats Copenhagen
April 4, 2025: Copenhagen, NY 13626 The Mater Dei Academy Saints (Syracuse, NY) baseball trounced the host Copenhagen Golden Knights (Copenhagen, NY), 12-4 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Saints now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Fabius Pompey for a Section 3 Patriot - American challenge on Monday, April 7. Mater Dei Academy will clash with a Falcons team coming off a 13-3 league win over Lafayette (LaFayette, NY). The Falcons record now stands at 2-0.
With the defeat, Copenhagen drops to 0-1 on the year. The Golden knights travel to Sackets Harbor Central (Sackets Harbor, NY) to clash with the Patriots in a Section 3 Frontier D challenge on Monday, April 7. The Patriots go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
