April 4, 2025: Gadsden, AL 35901 The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Gaston Bulldogs (Gadsden, AL) and the visiting Ider Hornets (Ider, AL), saw Gaston's baseball team gain a win over Ider by a tally of 12-2.
The Bulldogs (7-11) will now prepare for their battle against Gaylesville (Gaylesville, AL). The Trojans enter the non-league battle with a 8-9 record. In their last test, Gaylesville thwarted Jacksonville Christian Academy (Jacksonville, AL), 14-8, in a league test.
With the defeat, Ider drops to 25-10 on the year. The Hornets host Skyline (Scottsboro, AL) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league test on Monday, April 7. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 5-6. Skyline lost 10-0 in their recent non-league test against Fyffe (Fyffe, AL)
