Massachusetts High School Baseball - Hopkins Academy defeats Monument Mountain
April 4, 2025: Great Barrington, MA 01230 The crowd at Friday's non-league battle between the Hopkins Academy Golden Hawks (Hadley, MA) and the host Monument Mountain Spartans (Great Barrington, MA), saw Hopkins Academy's baseball team gain a win over Monument Mountain by a tally of 9-4.
The Golden Hawks (2-2) will now prepare for their battle against Easthampton/Hampshire (Easthampton, MA). The Eagles enter the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last battle, Easthampton/Hampshire was overwhelmed by Greenfield (Greenfield, MA), 5-3, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Spartans face the Wahconah Regional Warriors (Dalton, MA) in a Suburban East battle, on Tuesday, April 8. Monument Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Warriors enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 4-0 league loss to Southwick Regional (Southwick, MA).
