April 4, 2025: North Easton, MA 02356 The New Bedford Whalers (New Bedford, MA) baseball trounced the host Oliver Ames Tigers (North Easton, MA), 8-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.
The Whalers now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Bridgewater-Raynham for a non-league challenge on Monday, April 7. New Bedford will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 8-5 league win over Barnstable (Hyannis, MA). The Trojans record now stands at 2-1.
With the defeat, Oliver Ames drops to 0-2 on the year. The Tigers host King Philip Regional (Wrentham, MA) to clash with the Warriors in a non-league challenge on Monday, April 7. The Warriors go into the challenge with a record of 2-0. King Philip Regional won 4-3 in their recent league challenge against Franklin (Franklin, MA)
