In Friday's league game, the host Vestal Golden Bears baseball team scored a close 7-4 win over the Owego Free Academy River Hawks.

The Golden Bears (1-1) will now prepare for their game against Ithaca (Ithaca, NY). The Little Red go into the non-league game with a 1-0 record.
