In Friday's league game, the visiting Southern Alamance Patriots baseball team scored a close 5-3 win over the Person Rockets.

The Patriots (12-2) will now prepare for their game against Orange (Hillsborough, NC). The Panthers go into the Central 3A game with a 9-6 record. In their last game, Orange nudged Chatham Central (Bear Creek, NC), 11-1, in a non-league game.
