April 4, 2025: Jersey City, NJ 07302 Ferris Bulldogs (Jersey City, NJ) boosters left the game thrilled Friday as they saw their volleyball squad nudge the visiting Newark Vocational Eagles (Newark, NJ), 2-1 in a non-league test.
With the win, Ferris improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Bulldogs host Beloved Community Charter (Jersey City, NJ) to encounter the Owls in a HCIAL - National test on Monday, April 7. The Owls go into the test with a record of 0-2. Beloved Community Charter lost 2-0 in their recent league test against Hudson Catholic (Jersey City, NJ)
The Eagles now own a 0-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Teaneck for a non-league test on Saturday, April 5. Newark Vocational will encounter a Highwaymen squad coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Dwight Morrow (Englewood, NJ). The Highwaymen record now stands at 0-1.
