The Valley Vikings edged the visiting Foothill Mustangs volleyball squad by a final score of 3-2 in Friday's league game.

Next up, the Vikings face the Fairfield Falcons (Fairfield, CA) in a Greater Sacramento game, on Monday, April 21. Valley will attempt to advance on its 3-9 season record. The Falcons go into the game with a 0-12 record after their 0-0 league Armijo (Fairfield, CA).

The Mustangs (9-7) will now prepare for their game against Leroy Greene Academy (Sacramento, CA). The Lions go into the non-league game with a 9-11 record. In their last game, Leroy Greene Academy was edged by John Adams Academy - El Dorado Hills (El Dorado Hills, CA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
