In Friday's non-league challenge, the visiting Rincon/University Rangers volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Sahuaro Cougars.

The Rangers (13-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, AZ). The Lancers come into the non-league challenge with a 13-7 record.

Next, the Cougars play the Mica Mountain Thunderbolts (Tucson, AZ) in a 4A Kino challenge, on Tuesday, April 8. Sahuaro will attempt to upgrade on its 9-11 season record. The Thunderbolts come into the challenge with a 14-5 record after their 3-0 league win over Walden Grove (Sahuarita, AZ).
