The Del Norte Nighthawks baseball team scored 6 runs and held the visiting Grossmont Foothillers to 2 in the Nighthawks non-league win on Friday.

The Nighthawks now own a 4-3 record. They take the field next when they host Mission Hills for a test on Tuesday, April 29.

With the defeat, Grossmont drops to 5-6 on the year. The Foothillers host West Hills (Santee, CA) to play the Wolf Pack in a test on Saturday, April 5. The Wolf Pack go into the test with a record of 5-3. West Hills lost 9-6 in their recent league test against Steele Canyon (Spring Valley, CA)
